DJ Lucia Love has been in love with music since his early childhood, which he’s channelled into creating a sophisticated mood and atmosphere for his listeners.
Inspired by 1970’s disco, 1980’s pop, 1990’s lounge & the club scene of this century, his style generally falls into four sounds: Dance, Pop, Groove, Chill. This is a general guide. Sounds can blend and often sound great when building from one sound to another depending on the vibe of the room.

DANCE
Generally consists of vocals from popular and obscure songs and artists that have been placed over upbeat dance tracks, often described by people as club, remixed disco or house. Lucia’s approach to dance is to create a fun and uplifting environment with funky beats and rhythm. Songs are generally current or past Top 40 hits (or obscure songs) that have been remixed and updated for a modern, high energy vibe. Most songs contain vocals but there are some great instrumental-only tracks.

POP
Short for popular music. This means current, recent and classic Top 40 recognizable radio tunes that are generally upbeat. As the style of pop music has changed over time, Lucia generally plays pop music from 1970’s disco to present.
Inspiration: Chainsmokers, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Tove Lo, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Whitney Houston
GROOVE
A more scaled down version of dance, containing obscure songs that can bring a very bright and fun dynamic to the room. Groove can also be described as funk, light house or remixed alternative.
Inspiration: The Knocks, Satin Jackets, Alex Hook, Hed Kandi, Rocco Raimundo
CHILL
Short for chilling out, chill is a slower, more mellow sound, with or without lyrics. Perfect for relaxing mornings or poolside afternoons, it can take the stress out of any day or night and create a cool and peaceful mood.
Inspiration: Kygo, Gryffin, Lisa Shaw, Sade, Hotel Costes, Cafe Del Mar
